Computer I have is capable of burning CD's with music/sound tracks....have used this in the past to concentrate the music I like onto multiple "greatest hits" type CD's instead of having a cluster of CD's with one or two tracks I like with the rest of the CD sucking....

Curious to know what I would need for my computer to be able to copy MP3's from a Windows Media Player type source to a CD format for backup purposes or playing at another time......

I understand there is a special CD blank for this type of application?

Anybody here familiar with doing this who could offer me some advice on how to go about doing this.....some drive I could install to do an application like this?

Thanks, Mark....

May have misstated.....I was intending to copy mpeg's to disc.....if that makes any difference....

Was looking at that Nero 7......by testimonials it seems a little invasive and hijackish and why change the toolbar to install?

Looked at the list a bit and #42 on the list, Cool CD Burner 2.29 caught my eye.....but I don't know if it will copy what I'm looking to do....

I have audio cd blanks coming out the wazoo but do I need a more specialized type of blank to copy mpegs to?

Thank you for your advice, TTinCO....

Marco: Do you want to burn it on a CD or DVD? Ulead (software) gives you the option. In addition, the way you burn it is the why you will be able view it via your DVD Player.

Hope I understood a % of what you want.
